Select the
object type from the drop down list box:
Once
the object type is selected, specify the names of the two
objects to compare and press the [Do Comparison] button to
perform the comparison.
Comparison Options:
Tables: In addition to field, index, and property
comparisons, you can choose to
compare differences in the data (records) and field properties.
Forms and Reports: To have Total Access Detective compare
forms' or reports' modules, select the "Compare Form/Report
Module" option. This comparison usually takes only a short
period of time, but is more time-consuming if there is a lot of
code.
Modules: When the Compare Form Modules or Compare Report
Modules options are selected or Modules are compared, a set of
additional options appears.
