The latest version of Total Access Admin is described here: New Features
Total Access Admin 2007 (Version 12.0) lets you monitor your Microsoft Office Access/Jet databases better than ever and includes many new features:
In addition to supporting all Microsoft Access/Jet MDB databases from Access 97 to 2007, Total Access Admin 2007 also supports MS Access 2007 ACCDB format databases. Support for this format requires Access 2007 to be installed on the machine.
Optionally store every connection and disconnection from a database in a log file. This is stored in a table of the LOG.MDB database where Total Access Admin is installed. It records the machine ID, user name, and time. If a suspect connection is detected, that's recorded as well.
In addition to displaying a notification when all users are closed, these options are now available:
This makes it easy to compact the database once everyone exits. Database compact is made with extra care to ensure that a successful copy is made before the original is replaced.
If a suspect connection is detected, these options are now available:
Total Access Admin 2007 can be launched from a command line, Windows shortcut, or batch file. The database name, login info, and all the interactive selections can be set from the command line to simplify repetitive tasks.
If you implement the Idle User Logout feature in your database, there's a new option to let you specify the number of seconds it should wait before logging out the user automatically.
In addition to supporting Microsoft Access 2007, the new version is also tested against Vista, and offers a streamlined and improved user interface:
A new help file and 50-page professionally printed user manual are included. The sample databases are also enhanced with separate examples for ADO and DAO.
