Actions When Connections are Closed

Once everyone exits the database, Total Access Admin can automatically perform some actions. This is particularly useful since Access/Jet can get an exclusive lock for a database compact. You can do nothing, or set an action:

Available Actions

Close Database: Stop monitoring this database and remain in Total Access Admin.

Compact and Close Database: Compact the database, then close it without leaving Total Access Admin.

Compact and Exit: Compact the database, then exit Total Access Admin.

Display Notification: Display a message to yourself to alert you that everyone has exited a database.

Exit: Exit Total Access Admin after all the databases are closed.
