Send Administrator Message

When administering a database, there are cases when you need to send a message to everyone using the database. For example, you may want to warn users that you are taking the database offline, or request that they close the database at a specified time. Total Access Admin provides a feature to send a message to all users connected to the databases you are monitoring:

Specify the message to send with the [Edit Message] button, and type the desired text:

This option requires that your application contain logic to support the Send Admin Message feature. The sample databases illustrate how to implement this functionality in your application.
