Rich Text Format Memo Fields for Access Forms and Reports

VIENNA, VA - August 27, 1997 - FMS, Inc. is pleased to announce Total Access Memo 95/97 for Microsoft Access 95 and 97 is now shipping. Microsoft Access has memo fields, but they can only contain unformatted text with only one font. Total Access Memo gives users the ability to add Rich Text Format (RTF) memo fields with multiple fonts, point sizes, text styles, paragraph settings, and much more. Designed specifically for Access, Total Access Memo is an ActiveX/OCX that is placed directly on an Access form or report and bound to a memo field. The contents are stored in RTF format in Access memo fields. A built-in editor pops up to allow users to enter text and apply their formatting options.

• Cut, copy, and paste within the editor and to/from other Windows word processors
• Option to set the editor’s right margin to match the control’s width in the form for WYSIWYG word wrapping
• Spell checking using the Microsoft Office spell checker (automatically supports the user’s language)
• Language localization of the editor’s menus and dialogs (currently supports English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish)
• Properties and methods to allow programmatic control
