Development Tools for Microsoft Access 97

VIENNA, VA – December 22, 1997 – FMS, Inc. is pleased to announce that the Total Access Developer Suite and Total Access Enterprise Suite for Microsoft Access 97 (version 8.0) are now shipping. The Total Access Suites bundles the FMS' Microsoft Access 97 add-ins into a cost effective Access resource.

Total Access Developer Suite

The Total Access Developer Suite is a combination of five products targeted for the professional Microsoft Access developer. These products are designed to speedup reduce application development time, enhance the user interface, document the work done, detect changes, and pinpoint potential errors and problems.

• Total Access Analyzer Database documentation, analysis, and error detection
• Total Access CodeTools Utilities to write new code and cleanup existing code
• Total Access Components 27 ActiveX controls to enhance the user interface and simplify programming
• Total Access Detective Detect differences between objects and databases
• Total Access SourceBook Code library with over 550 procedures

Total Access Enterprise Suite

The Total Access Enterprise Suite is the complete set of eight FMS products for Access 97. It includes the five products in the Total Access Developer Suite, plus three more:

• Total Access Agent System administrator tool to simplify database maintenance and chores
• Total Access Memo Rich text format (RTF) memo fields
• Total Access Statistics Data analysis tool (numerical analysis program)

Pricing and Availability

Total Access Developer Suite 97 is available in two versions directly from FMS, Inc.: a single user version for $499, and a 5 pack for $1599. The Total Access Enterprise Suite 97 is also available in two versions: a single user version for $899, and a 5 pack for $2999. These prices are over 40% off the price of the products purchased individually. Owners of any previous versions of Total Access Suites can upgrade to the Developer Suite and Enterprise Suite for $299 and $699 respectively.
