project management and due date reporting, document imaging and management,
conflict checking and
time and billing in one program.
Business Situation
Office Tools Pro needed a way to provide rich
text capability in their programs. Microsoft Word often proved too
bulky. Office Tools Pro also required a solution that would integrate
with Microsoft Access relatively easily. All this needed to be done on
a large scale with a relatively small staff and budget.
Solution
Total Access Memo was
implemented by Office Tools Pro and the results were impressive. Memo
supplied a lightweight alternative to Microsoft Word while solving all of
the issues Office Tools Pro had involving Microsoft rich text controls and
their functionality. Also, Total Access Memo integrates with Microsoft
Access nicely with a “nominal amount of coding”, according to Programming
Manager with Office Tools Pro, Robert Harvey.
