Located in our headquarters in Tysons Corner, VA, FMS, Inc. offers
commercial-off-the-shelf software solutions for use by developers and
end-users alike. FMS products are tailored for Microsoft Access, SQL Server,
and Visual Studio development communities. FMS leads the industry in
Microsoft Access-based development. Founded in 1986, FMS is a Microsoft Gold
Certified partner with 40+ industry awards, and tens of thousands of
satisfied customers in over 100 countries. The solutions we create are
directly and indirectly making a positive difference in the way people work
and live around the world. We are seeking ONE special individual to
provide technical support to our customers. This is
a full-time, entry-level opportunity for the right
individual to work with our team of world renowned
developers, conference speakers, authors, and
Microsoft MVPs.
Responsibilities include:
- Learning about the features of our software products
- Answering technical inquiries as requested by our potential
customers
- Providing professional technical support for existing customers
- Carefully testing and documenting software issues as they may arise
- Sharing customer feedback with our team of developers
The ideal candidate for this opportunity would possess the following
skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Positive, “can-do” customer service personality
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail
- Experience using Microsoft Windows, Office, and Access
Experience in these additional areas would definitely be a plus:
- Knowledge and experience creating and using databases
- Experience with PC hardware and networking
- Some programming with VB/VBA or .NET
